Why is there a question mark after the word “art” in the title? I would argue that this picture is far better than much of the “art” that I have seen in my day.

This is the kind of picture you’re going to look at in mid July when we’re roasting through the thick of summer and wishing that we could magically transport back to (or forward to) winter.
ok, does anyone else think that those people crossing the street way in the back look like that poster that shows the evolution of monkey<caveman<modern man?
woah, part of my post disapeared, it was meant to say “monkey to caveman to modern man” at the end

It does look like that! Oh, and Richard the comment security script probably just filtered out some text it didn’t like. Did you use open and/or close angle brackets from XHTML? It’s set to filter out HTML to prevent people from posting bright red comments, etc. That could be what happened.

First off, thanks Dan! Yours was a very nice comment. And … aha, I’ve discovered something interesting. Your comments weren’t filtered out, Richard—because they weren’t dangerous. I’ll set up an output thing to filter HTML character entities, which should result in your original comment showing up correctly. Thanks for accidentally helping me improve the comment script!

Yes Richard, it does look a little bit like the evolution of man. The only problem is it would appear from this picture that man started as a tree and will end as a automobile.
alex: yeah i figured that was the deal, good job fixing it, i give you internet “props”
frank: my mind is blown, i think we may have stumbled upon something big here.

It seems like quite a jump to go from a tree to an upright ape but I like the idea. Also, I have always wondered what is in that building, it seems like a buisness should be housed there but I have never seen a sign or anything, is the building for rent?
