I can’t wait until the cutesy, generic, kitschy winter wonderland pictures phase of TumbleDry ends. Bring back the kitty pictures. Or, let’s never take advice from Nils again!

No offense to Nils, just to the practice under which these photographs were posted.

(thanks Nils for creating the template for this comment)

Mykala

What the heck happened to that apostrophe in “can’t” ?!?

Alexander Micek

With regards to that mangled apostrophe, I would very much like to know the same thing. I’m trying to figure it out right now. Something must have gone goofy when you used a contraction, Mykala.

*minutes pass*

Oh oh oh oh oh oh oh. Wait a minute. Did you copy and paste what Nils wrote? Let me know, because that will be a good place to jump off in fixing this problem. If it was a copy and paste thing, I think I know the cause.

Also, eagerly awaiting Nils’ reply over here.

I happen to enjoy the “wonderland pictures phase of TumbleDry” much more than kitty pictures. I am sorry to back Nils on this one Mykala, you know how much that pains me. It also makes me enjoy the warmer weather more after looking at what we had on the ground not more than a week ago.

John

I like this picture and I like cats.

Amber

I am totally with Mykala. George pictures galore! Or at least pictures that don’t add to S.A.D.(Seasonal Affective Disorder)!

Just so you know Alex, I find your pictures very well taken and beautiful, I am just against winter.

First things first. This picture rocks. The out of focus background looks great contrasting with the sharply in focus foreground. Also, I feel like there is a sense of nostalgia permeating this picture. I think it has to do with the old building which looks like my elementary school, Willard, in Minneapolis.

Secondly, I must refute the comments made by this Mykala character. One: Cat pictures are boring. They present simple and generic subject material and lack the dynamic possibilities of outdoor photography. Two: Winter pictures are sweet. Three: When winter pictures on TumbleDry cease, spring pictures will take over, followed by summer pictures (back me up here Alex). Four: I hadn’t planned on having a fourth point, let me think… Five: Yeah, I definitely can’t find anything worth saying for my fourth point. This leaves a pretty vacuous fifth point as well. Six: I apologize for my fourth and fifth points of contention which were lacking of a general worthiness. They sucked. Seven: If I had your cat I would name him Orange (because he’s orange) but pronounce it with a French accent like this: Or-ahn-j.

Was that a correct phonetic spelling? Mykala, in three sentences or less, describe the correctness of that phonetic spelling.

It. Is. Incorrect.

lol. I love Nils’ and Mykala’s little spat going on. I appreciate both of your support tempered by structured criticism … even if it sometimes is of one another. :)
