There is snow on those stairs. Also, it would appear as if someone has already travelled up them at one point. Just had to keep up with all the other obvious statements.

One might even say that traces of feet have been “imprinted” into the snow. Someone should make a name for that sort of phenomenom. Maybe something like “feetimprint”?

After close inspection and lengthy consideration, I have arrived at several conclusions.

Firstly, snow is present in several locations: on the ground, on the stairs, trees, and even on top of the building. This leads me to think that snow has recently fallen from the sky. How else could it cover the top of all the aforementioned objects?

Secondly, there is definitely a building in the background. Probably built of concrete, but I can’t be sure.

Third: Although difficult to prove, I believe that this picture was taken outside given the presence of several trees. You will also notice the sky in the upper regions of the frame.

Fourth: There is a lightpost here as well. Inside is a light bulb.

Fifth and finally: Railings border the ascending stairs. Made of a dark, solid substance, this is most likely to support anyone who ascends the stairs.

I will have to politely disagree with Nils on this one. My current theory is that this is actually a picture of a cat and/or blonde girl that has been cleverly manipulated in photoshop. How can I make such a bold claim? If you look closely, you will se that there are footprints leading away from the point of view and none leading towards it. How did the photographer get to the spot from which this picture was taken????? I rest my case.

Haha, I’d be funny to Photochop Mykala and cat into a picture … but I have sort of an informal policy with myself: the pictures are just adjusted for color, levels, and crop — that way, it keeps me in the realm of photography and not endless digital manipulation.

Besides, I’m no good at all that Photoshop stuff like skin tone enhancement, neck lengthening, complete overhauls, and on and on … :)
