Hold On A Just A Little Bit Longer
I’ve got one more final and some miscellaneous work to finish up. Not to worry, there are links to add, pictures to post, and stories to tell - just hang on a couple more days. And good luck to all of you on your finals - the pain of the end-of-the-semester makes the Christmas holiday that much sweeter.

Actually the stress and hardship caused by finals makes the Holiday a lot worse because once I can finally enjoy this time of year, it's already Christmas Eve!!! That's right, I have finals until the 23rd of December. Fuck me and fuck whoever made up the exam schedule.

For those of you who may be pregnant during this time period, I suggest getting as much R&R as humanly possible. There are now links that show that high levels of stress during the third trimester of birth can be passed down via an "lightswitch" effect on people's DNA known as epi-genetics. Of course, this could just be the weirdest comment left to date on Tumbledry, but then again… Maybe not.

Hmm, I didn't watch the end of the epi-genetics video, but I'm skeptical to hop onto something that is obviously a niche in the scientific community. For example, they didn't show an example of an "off" gene in one generation and an "on" in the next, or vice versa. Some of it just sounds like recessive or dominant qualities of genes. But that said, stress sucks and should be avoided whether pregnant or otherwise. Finals week is a good time to avoid stress, but I am finding that impossible. Maybe I should study some more….

I'm not entirely clear with what's going on here, what with the epi-genetics and Nils' response and all - so I'm going to take a little time here, figure out what is going on, consider the finals timing issue from comment #4 … and go from there.
