The posts on Song Meanings might be an exception to our theory of worthless humanity posting. They have a ton of posts and very few actually interact with each other. What is even more bizarre is the frequency with which people share very personal stories with complete strangers. The site fascinates me, and its a great help when I am trying to get some obscure lyrics.

Agreed. I think it’s the compulsory registration process filters out some of the fools. Plus, there are just so many song pages that the idiocy gets spread thin.
The cool thing about Song Meanings is it’s “About” page: “We are currently non-profit and are here ‘for the fun of it.’ Any money we acquire through advertisements is put back into the site completely.”
