Chicago Water Tower

Chicago Water Tower

The Chicago Water Tower looks pretty amazing, its baroque style set in the midst of a bustling, modern city.

I wish that all water towers looked like lighthouse-tower-castles. Would that be unreasonable?

I think I would be okay living there.

Whoa, I will be going to school less than 500 ft from this structure next year and I had never even heard of it before! (distance provided by Google Maps)

What were you in Chicago for, Alex?

Alexander Micek

Cool, Adam! Is that the University of Chicago you speak of? I don’t know of the other schools in the area … anyhow, I was in Chicago for the American Chemical Society National Meeting to exhibit my poster on a novel oxazolidinone.

I’ll be at Northwestern University (at the medical school which is right downtown for their biomedical sciences PhD program)
