Bold? Yes. Objective? No. Extremely opinionated and subjective? Absolutely.
A more objective statement would have been as such: "If you are into indie, underground, undiscovered, off-mainstream, eclectic, alternative to alternative, and/or local music, then you will most likely find something to like about 89.3. Pop, rock, folk, hip-hop, ambient, unclassifiable - they play it all."
Funny you guys talked about the Current today (well yesterday, which, by the way was Dan's birthday - hey Happy Birthday Dan!); I actually heard a song yesterday morning on the Current which was really good. It was called Dream by a group called "West Indian Girl."
The song, I liked it.
