Kauai Sunrise

On our last morning in Hawaii, I caught the glimmer of pink during sunrise, rare during the cloudy/rainy winter season. I sprinted the 200 yards out to the ocean in time to catch the sunrise you see here. I’ll post a vertical shot I got of the sunrise later.

Wow. That is really beautiful, Alex. I can't wait to travel again, and hopefully the next time will be in SE Asia so I too can take in sunrises like this.

Hmm, I see my post was posted twice. How weird. As long as I am posting something again, I'll point out that it looks like there is a big gun aiming into the water in the picture.

Hey Nils - sorry about that double post situation. I'm not entirely sure what caused it, but I've been going through the site source code with a fine-tooth comb (especially the comments section), and I think any further problems will be fixed in the next tumbledry release.

I always like to hear positive reactions to these pictures, and even better if they're tempered by humor … 'cause gosh darnit that does look like a big gun pointed into the water.
