Those clouds must have been moving really fast to get that much blur from a 1/25sec shutter speed. Also, your f stop is set kind of high. I am surprised that you got the nighttime setting to look like that without having to use a lower f-stop.

Alexander Micek

Ahh Nils, you are quite observant. My poor coding skills have caused the settings to be confusing: the exposure time was actually 25 seconds … it was so high because of the high f-stop. The camera was on a tripod. The cloud blur was captured by complete luck. :)

Pretty clouds!

Well yeah, I am not made of money so when I spend it I demand satisfaction.

Nils

I like Dan Mckeown's quote the best. And on a separate note, the info obviously says 25 over 1 second, which obviously means 25 seconds. God, I am obviously a moron.

John

No, that is Alex playing mind games on you. You were correct initially, he just likes to do the little switcheroo under your nose while you aren't watching bit….

Nils

Damn it! I've been swindled!

Dan McKeown

Brilliant use of swindled there Nils, that word is not used often enough.

Nils

I use the word swindle all the time. I think it is an important word, and one that is oft overlooked. Oft is another word that isn't used frequently enough.
