It would be really funny if you could see a girl in one of the seminarian windows in this picture. You cannot actually see one, but it would be funny if you could.

Girls aren't allowed in the seminary dorms. If what you describe was the case in this picture, it would be ironic with a capital "I." So it would be "Ironic." And funny.

I would think that ironic with a capital "I" could also be ironIc. Who are we to say which "I" to capitalize, and which one to not?
