So Ess drew up this to-do list in early August. This is the list of things she wanted to do this next day:

• Eat a breakfast of eggs and pink juice “just some strawberry juice and eggs!”
• Play and watch TV
• Win something at the fair
• See a bunny in the forest
• Ride a horse
• Sleep at the end of the day

The Washington County Fair had a charming butterfly booth staffed by volunteers, many of whom also worked at the U. That’s why Mykala and I liked it. Ess liked it because they had awesome butterfly wings.
