Tree Zoom
This picture consistently makes me feel dizzy.
This picture consistently makes me feel dizzy.
For some reason, I really like this picture. I think it’s the subtle sunlight.
I never knew that bonsai trees could look so stunningly realistic. Certainly, they are very real and alive tiny trees, but the trimming and maintenance patterns employed in this example by John Naka are tree-mendous. Ha! The caption for that linked picture:
The idea behind this seven picture series is to confront the sometimes harsh reality of fall using the bright, stark imagery that on-camera flash photography is known for. Instead of softening the colors by shooting wide shots of forests and sunsets, we take a close, unblinking (mildly depressing) look at the season.
The rented lens made shooting just about anything fun.
Afternoon sunlight filters through the leaves of a Skyline locust (Gleditsia triacanthos inermis).
If you look at them far enough away, trees look like big weeds.
Just tossed this online to test something.
