Mykala spotted this owl in our backyard, and it stayed here for quite some time. I have never seen an owl so close; they are big birds.
I kind of feel for the mice; these things must be terrifying.
I have a few old Sylvanians that Ess found at my parent’s house, and this is one of the owl family. Mykala made this wedding dress for the mama owl, at Essie’s request.
Eighteen years of serving this website over insecure HTTP are over: I installed a certificate for HTTPS, though I suppose the purpose is more not wanting to be left behind than any true need. I’ve read it could make the site go faster, and I’ve read it might make it go slower, too. I suppose both could be true.
