I think that this tree is in the family Cercis, also called the Judas tree. Appropriate for St. Thomas with its purple color.
As promised back on photograph #620, here’s a test vertical image from Hawaii. Been planning this feature for about three months now — let’s hope it works!

The Christmas Cactus, instead of blooming March like it did before, is now blooming at a more normal time.
I think we chatted with the owner about the fish in this really cool pond in Mai Village. He was very nice. Mykala, do you remember what the name of that expensive fish he mentioned was?
