The chemistry faculty presented us with round bottom flasks filled with treats - plus, we got to keep the flasks! Glassware like this is pretty expensive, so the gesture was very nice. Unfortunately, mine cracked when I tried to remove the candy from it …
I grabbed this Hershey’s “Chocolatey Chew” from Mykala’s free bag of candy from Target … and it was amazing. It’s some sort of really soft chocolate (a bit like a Tootsie Roll, but better tasting) with sprinkles on top.

This guy has been hated by some and loved by many over the years - I made him out of candy and marshmallows in something like third grade, and he has since hardened into a mass of sugar that just doesn’t seem to decay. He received a place of honor towards the front of the Christmas tree this year: other years he has been relegated to the back of the tree.
This was the most perfect day you could possibly imagine: we just laid outside in the half-shade, half-sun, and soaked up the summertime.
