Fix a Canon flash shoe - Useful if I ever get a flash and then break the notoriously finicky/fragile off-shoe mount of hot shoe.

Which will probably happen.

Timelapse photography - Using the Canon camera (one model newer than my own), this guy makes some incredible timelapse movies with software set to snap an image over a certain time interval. “Montreal Sunset Shards” is one of my favorites.

‌

My next lens? - I’ve been needing a faster (but cheap!) lens for some time … and this would allow me to take candids of acceptable quality in low-light situations (weddings, etc.).
