Wine Still Life

Wine Still Life

Nils commenting on Mai Village

That is a sweet set up! Is the food real expensive there? The decor and interior design would lead me to think so.

ABBA is also Swedish, which is almost Norwegian, which is the best culture in the world. So they have that going for them too.

Mykala commenting on Mai Village

NO! That's what makes this place so freakin' awesome. It's in this sort of ghetto part of town, and it's this beautiful $4 million restaurant owned by this vietnamese family. All of the decor is authentic (and beautiful) and the food is priced similar to any family restaurant.

Sweet. Very sweet.

Mykala commenting on Mai Village

Haha. ^ That comment was left by me, but silly Alex saved his info on my computer the last time he was here…

(I want it to go towards MY comment count, by the way. I won't stand by and get screwed out of what is rightfully mine.)

lol. Sorry about that, Mykala. And yeah - this is an awesome restaurant. Furthermore, I fixed up Mykala's comment so she will not be screwed out of what is rightfully hers. Hey Mykala - be sure to check out my caption on the following image, there's a question about the fish pond waiting for you there!

You guys are just as, if not more, englightening than Wikipedia. I didn't know those things about ABBA or "Oye Coma Va." Also, the only song even close to ABBA I have in my library is by "Abba Teens" - it's called "Mama Mia (Dance Mix)" and it's darn good (if not embarassing - I got it in February of 2001). Right …

So I'll have to give the real ABBA a try sometime. Plus, they had great graphic designers: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Abbamovieposter.jpg

woah, that is nice design. i thought you were going to ironically link to something like this: http://cache.boston.com/bonzai-fba/Original_Photo/2005/07/08/1120851835_6330.jpg

Chocolatey Chew

I grabbed this Hershey’s “Chocolatey Chew” from Mykala’s free bag of candy from Target … and it was amazing. It’s some sort of really soft chocolate (a bit like a Tootsie Roll, but better tasting) with sprinkles on top.

A poor picture of the wrapper.

I’d like to find some information online about this newfangled candy, but a Google search and a visit to Hershey’s website yielded absolutely nothing. This leaves me rather non-plussed. I mean … is this candy really new? Or is it some sort of pilot candy program for market testing? Was I a guinea pig? Was this even real candy? I’m not sure, but I am confident that whatever happened to me, it was delicious.

Man orders 40GB iPod - receives shrinkwrapped box of soap and some batteries

Man orders 40GB iPod - receives shrinkwrapped box of soap and some batteries - At least the thieves in the shipping chain had a sense of humor; or if this guy is being dihonest, at least he’s creative.

Razor blade numbers

Razor blade numbers - The number of blades on a razor versus year can be modelled by a hyperbolic curve. If however, we model with “what is known as a power law, then the 14-bladed razor should arrive in 2100.”
